Biology and fishery of haddock from the Rockall Bank

Based on the results of the summarizing and the analysis of the data from domestic and foreign research and fishery the up-to-date viewpoint about the Rockall Bank haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus) biology is presented. Given are the data on the fish length-age composition, the rates of growth and maturation, sexual structure and feeding. The main peculiarities of distribution, migrations and conditions of aggregation forming are considered. Presented are the results of stock estimation with using the improved methods. The measures for fishery regulation are proposed
