The subject of the research presented in the paper is the analysis of the position of Serbia and its competitiveness in the global market of honey. Honey production in Serbia meets domestic needs, leaving significant quantities for export. Therefore, it is important to determine to what extent Serbian honey is competitive in the global market and where this competitiveness comes from. To achieve this, selected competitiveness indicators were calculated: market share, the unit value of exports and imports, quality competition index, and trade competitive index. Although Serbian honey is relatively wellpositioned in certain markets, the research has shown that there is a possibility of strengthening its competitiveness, primarily based on its quality, in the market of the European Union, one of the world's largest importers of honey
