Postpartum calves are a particularly risky category from the point of maintaining good health status. Digestive diseases in this period are the most commonly diagnosed health disorder, which is largely due to errors in calf nutrition. Colostrum has high nutritional value and contributes to the maintenance of calves' health, but it can also cause health disorders in cases where calves are poorly fed or contain pathogens, causing digestive disorders or systemic diseases.
