Monitoring the eff ect of single and divided dose of nitrogen on yield of seeds and other parameters (root diameter, root lenght, plant lenght, root weight, plant weight, number of pods per plant, pods weight, number of seeds per pod) was the main aim of experiment with oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.). As well as the correlation yield of seed and number of pods per plant. The plot–scale experiment was based in experimental years 2013/2014, 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 in terms of agricultural cooperative in Mojmírovce. Hybrid Artoga was seeded in every year. There were three treatments of fertilization and the block method of experimental plot size of 600 m2 tested in triplicate was used in this experiment. The fi rst treatment was unfertilized control. The treatment 2del.160 was fertilized by divided dose of nitrogen 160 kg·ha–1 and single dose of nitrogen 160 kg·ha–1 was applied at treatment 3jedn.160. Yield and other parameters were greatly infl uenced by weather conditions. All three years were not equable in precipitation and temperatures. The lowest average yield 2.48 t·ha–1 (at 12% moisture) was found at unfertilized control treatment. There were reached average yield 4.04 t·ha–1 and 3,96 t·ha–1, at treatments 2del.160 and 3jedn.160. The diff erence was not statistically signifi cant. Similarly, as for number of pods per plant, the diff erence among treatments 2del.160 and 3jedn.160 was not stastistically signifi cant. Also, positive correlation among yield of seed and number of pods per plant was not signifi cant. There is an assumption, that results can be slightly eff ected by sulfur content and inhibitors of nitrifi cation contained in ENSIN fertilizer.
