Current state and development of micronutrients in agricultural soils of Slovakia
2018
Kobza, Jozef
Current state and development of micronutrients (Cu, Zn, Mn) are presented in this contribution. Microelements have been monitored in soil monitoring network which consists of 318 monitoring sites where all main soil types and geology in various climatic regions of Slovakia are included. Therefore the concrete soils concerning their content of micronutrients are evaluated separately with regard to their land use (arable land and grassland). Microelements were determined by analytical procedures of DTPA extraction according to Lindsay-Norvell method. On the basis of obtained results it may by said that the content of microelements (Cu, Zn, Mn) is mostly medium to high. Finally, only the slight decrease of micronutrients has been indicated during the last 20 years ( period of microelements monitoring in Slovakia).
