In the present study, the effects of indole-3-acetic acid, gibberellic acid, 6-furfurilaminopurin at 10, 20, 30 ppm and cobalt at 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 ppm concentrations alone and as a mixture on cambial activity of rosehip cuttings were investigated. Morphological changes of plants were observed during experiment and anatomy of plants analyzed in terms of cambium activity at the end of test period. The leaves of plants treated with IAA+GA3+FAP mixtures were in green colour and dried curling during experiment. The leaves of plants treated with alone Co dried after yellowing. The number of dried yellowing leaves of plants treated with IAA+GA3+FAP+Co increased with increasing Co concentration. Cobalt treatments caused adventive root formation alone. According to anatomical findings, cambial zone thickness, cambium cell row and radial length of cambium cells increased with increasing mixture of plant hormones concentration, whereas radial and tangential wall thickness of cambium cells decreased. Cambial zone thickness, cambium cell row and radial length of cambium cells decreased, whereas radial and tangential wall thickness of cambium cells increased in Co treatment. Hormone mixtures application reducedthe negative effects of Co in hormone+Co solutions. Tangential length of cambium cells was not affected by hormone mixtures and cobalt treatments. As a result, increasing hormone mixture concentrations markedly decreased harmful effects of increasing cobalt concentration on rosehip cuttings.
