According to the statistical data, in 2020 raspberries were grown in 226 ha in Latvia. The average raspberry yield is still low (according to statistics of 1.5 t haE−1). The low level of agrotechnics and the lack of suitable cultivars are the main causes for a low yield. Winter hardiness is one of the crucial criteria for cultivars. During the period of 2018–2020, the evaluation of floricane raspberry cultivars was carried out at LatHort in Dobele in order to assess their suitability for integrated growing. 10 floricane raspberry cultivars were evaluated: ‘Glen Doll’, ‘Glen Magna’, ‘Glen Rosa’, ‘Glen Moy’, ‘Maurin Makea’, ‘Jenkka’, ‘Reveille’, ‘Jatsi’, ‘Nova’ and ‘Gatineau’. In this period, the highest average yield was for the cultivars ‘Nova’ – 8.4 t haE−1, ‘Jenkka’ – 7.4 t haE−1 and ‘Reveille’ – 7.3 t haE−1, while the average weight of fruits for these cultivars did not exceed 2.5 g. Three year average results show that the largest average fruit weight was for the cultivars ‘Glen Magna’ (4.2 g) and ‘Glen Moy’ (3.0 g). Berries of the cultivar ‘Jatsi’ had the highest content of Vitamin C and total phenols therefore it is recommended for processing.
