The Republic of Moldova, in a relatively short period of time, has undergone a cardinal reform of land relations which consists in the transition from public state ownership to private land ownership. This reform was inevitable and argued socio-economically. At the same time, its realization has led to a complex of problems related to the efficient use of limited land resources. The need for a System for regulating land relations is a current one in the socio-economic development of the country. The purpose of this scientific study is to analyze the process of regulating land relations in terms of implementing new forms of efficient and sustainable use of land, evaluated in terms of conceptual, systemic, methodological, institutional.
