In the present paper we have assumed that the informal economy, namely the informalization of the labor market, is an acute problem in the Republic of Moldova. Labor market informalization is a signal of disintegration and can be a migration factor. The main objective of this paper is to present the current informalization conditions in the context of the Republic of Moldova, which can be a catalyst for migration, especially among young people. Through this paper we propose an alternative analysis of the labor market in order to understand an acute problem in the Moldovan society: the disintegration on the informal labor market.
