Ruso. One of the most important problems in veterinary medicine today is endometritis in cattle. Endometritis is an inflammation of the endometrial mucosa that usually begins to develop on the third to tenth day after calving. Endometritis has a seasonal pattern that depends on the animal's age. The effectiveness of therapy for postpartum complications in cows is due to timely and accurate diagnosis, accordingly, it is necessary in each cattle farm to have a diagnostic room designed to conduct biochemical and other studies, a maternity department, in which cattle are prepared for calving, calving reception and early gynecological examination. In this regard, the effectiveness of different regimens and methods of therapy, prevention of endometritis in cattle of Holstein-Friesian breed was studied. The studies were carried out in the period from February 14, 2021, till October 31, 2022, at the department of non-communicable diseases of the State Agrarian University of Northern Trans-Ural and in the conditions of cattle farms of Kurgan and Tyumen Oblasts where the most rational schemes and methods of treatment, diagnostics and prevention of the disease were suggested. According to the data obtained as a result of the research, the following drugs were recommended for purulent-catarrhal endometritis: Endometramag - bio, oxytocin and furazolidon suppositories Furox in combination with rectal uterine massage, which demonstrated positive results.
