Particularități de cultivare a ridichii de lună în palete celulare

The new technologies of vegetable production encourage using seedling trays for cultivating radish. The radish is one of the fastest growing plants, so high density, short grow period can contribute to success. The main objectives of the research were to study the particularities of growth and productivity of cultivating radish in trays with different cell volume and density. We studied 4 types of trays with different cell volume and density – 225, 328, 476, 960 pl/m2. Results obtained indicated that radish can be successfully grown in seedling trays with a number of cells of 24 to 80 cells per tray, thus providing an area of nutrition necessary for the normal growth and development of roots.
