LDH [Lactic Dehyddrogenase] isoenzymes in the cat

The electrophoretic separation of LDS isoenzymes in various tissues and plasma of the cat was studied. Cardiac muscle was presented with a big proportion of fast - moving LDH isoenzymes (LDH 2, 1) providing smaller ratios LDH 1 - HBD. The isoenzyme pattern for liver was similar to that of skeletal muscle shown as slow moving fractions (LDH 5, 4). Other tissues showed a more uniform distribution of the isoenzymes.
