The study on some characteristics of two sex types of papaya fruits aged: 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2 and 3 months of Carica papaya var. cocoa was conducted at the Kampangsaen Campus, Kasetsart University, Fruit weights and fruit sizes varied with different ages. Percent total soluble solids rose slowly whereas percent water content in fruits varied during fruit development. Total nonstructural carbohydrates contents increased markedly with ages up to 3 months and was found different for fruit aged one month apart
