The purpose of this research paper is to explore the relationship of seven selected personal and economic characteristies of the rice growers with their extension exposure. One hundred and two rice growers randomly selected from 5 selected villages of Bhabakhali Union under Mymensingh Sadar Upazila of Bangladesh constituted the sample. Data were collected from the sample by Interview procedure. Findings of the study indicate that an overwhelming majority (78.43%) of the rice growers had either very low or low extension exposure compared to 17.65% having medium extension exposure. Only 3.92% of the rice growers had high extension exposure, while none was found to have very high extension exposure. Statistical test showed that the characteristics such as education, effective farm-size, commercialization, income and credit availability had significant and positive relationships with extension exposure. However, the relationship was insignificant for age and land tenure.
