Studies with greenhouse lettuce, Deci Minor cv., were carried out in 11573980-82. The soluble and general forms of microelements were determined as well as their concentrations. A comparison was made between the content of microelements in the lettuce of spring and autumn cultivation. The doses of microelements at which the lettuce yields did not differ and did not show any shortage or excess of microelements had the following composition: general Mo - 0.77-5.00 ppm, B - 50-60 ppm, Cu - 4.0-26.1 ppm, Mn - 322-687 ppm, Zn - 84-353 ppm and Fe - 373-640 ppm in the spring cultiva
