Research on possibilities of reduction of the labour expenditures at resin collection

Two variants of infrequent resin collection had been studied for two years of the experiment. Variant A - resin was collected 3 times at the end of June and August and in mid October. Variant B - resin was collected twice at the end of July and in mid October. The following conclusions were formulated: efficiency of works at the infrequent resin collection increased to about 350% for variant B and 280% for variant A; total labour consumption for the resin collection decreased; annual gains of workers increased; resin collection costs decreased per 1 ton. Although resin productivity counted for one-meter-cut decreased the total value of colophony and turpentine obtained by means of that method.
