B.N. 68 - A promising generative rootstock for plums

Following the studies and recordings carried out in the experimental plum collection at the Fruit Research Station Bistritza, we have selected a clone of Iskra variety - B.N. 68 - which was distinguished as a promising generative rootstock for the plum varieties. This clone has induced to varieties a lower vigour and bearing precocity, high productivity and constant fruiting.
