The results showed variations among the locations in salt content in soil and irrigation water. The EC of the irrigation water increases towards the south and ranged 0.46-3.76 m mhos/cm; the EC for the soil varied from 2.44-17.24 m mhos/cm and decreased as soil depth increased. The pH value for soil and irrigation water was found to be alkali for all regions, ranged between (7.20 and 8.40) and (7.30 and 8.08) respectively. Deficiency in availabe N and P was recorded for all locations, but not for K. Concentrations of N, P and K ranged 6.3-21.0, 4.6-12.3 and 210-350 ppm respectively. Pinna showed low concentration of N, and optimum - high concentration of P AND K for all regions. The amount of nutrients were correlated with the yield. Yield ranged between 25.02-53.90 kg/palm. The average weight of fruit was between 66.1-10.3 gm, the average length of fruit was 2.7-3.5 cm. Significant differences in the total and invert sugar. No significant differences in sucrose content which ranged 1.4-5.7%. The moisture content of fruit ranged 13.8-21.9%
