Effect of plant spacing and CCC on growth and yield of potato
1987
Haumadi, F.M. (Baghdad Univ., Baghdad (Iraq). Coll. of Agriculture)
Potato cv. "Claudia" was grown during spring of 1982 and 1983 at the Experimental Station, College of Agriculture, Abu-Ghraib. Three rates of each CCC(0, 1000 and 5000 ppm) and plant spacing (15, 25 and 35 cm) were used. The total yield increased significantly, in both years, as CCC rates increased from 0 to 5000 ppm CCC and planting at 15 cm apart. CCC and plant spacing had little or no effect on tuber dry matter content
