In a feeding experiment with a total of 60 growing-fattening pigs, 6 PCB-components were added to the ration. Each component was applied in 5 concentrations of 0 ng, 5 ng, 10 ng, 20 ng and 30 ng per g air dry matter. Pigs were slaughtered at 100 kg liveweight, and PCB contents were analysed in subcutaneous adipose tissue, flare fat, muscles, liver and kidney. With all 6 PCB components, there was a close relationship between dietary intake and concentration in the tissues.
