The reaction of beneficial insects to application of (R)Folicur
1989
Schmidt, H.W.
The reaction of the fungicide Folicur on beneficial insects have been investigated in a large number of field trials. At a dose rate of 375 g active ingredient per hectare no harmful effect on beneficial insects was observed. The trials showed that Folicur had no insecticidal effects. It did not harm any of the beneficial insects studied, including spider, predatory mites, springtails, sickle bugs, flower bugs, ground beetles, rove beetles, ladybirds, lacewing larvae and parasitic wasps, and there was no evidence whatsoever of any adverse effects on the various developmental stages of these insects. These trials showed that Folicur and Folicur/Bayfidan mixtures are not harmful to bees or their brood
