The role of the gonadotropin hormone on the genital organ weight, ovary weight, the number of corpora lutea, and the conception rate of ewe have been studied in 20 native ewe. The results indicated that the gonadotropin hormones significantly increased (P 0.01) genital organ weight and the number of corpora lutea of experimental ewe. The PMSG treated ewe have a significantly higher (P 0.01) weight of genital organ than the control group (1.15 Vs 0.71 kg). Moreover, the control group have significantly lower (P 0.05) number of corpora lutea compared to the three other treatment groups (1.80 Vs 4.25, 3.60, and 3,20, respectively). However, the data of ovary weight, fetus weight, the number of fetus, and conception rate failed to show any significant differences among the four treatment groups.
