[Reflection parameters derived from the optical spectrum analysis to characterize the state of sugarbeets and to predict their potential yield]

Inglés. The reflectance of sugar beet plots, influenced by different weather conditions and levels of nitrogen fertilization, were measured several times during vegetation period. Simultaneously, plants were analyzed for characteristic parameters. The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the main inflection point (HWP) of the red edge were calculated. NDVI and HWP were shown to be sensitive to leaf biomass, area and content of chlorophyll and represent the status and potential productivity of a sugar beet crop. This information can be used for estimating the yield of beet mass.

An Zuckerruebenbestaenden wurde das Reflexionsverhalten im optischen Spektralbereich (400-1100 nm) in Abhaengigkeit von charakteristischen Bestandesmerkmalen (Blatt- und Ruebenmasse, Blattflaeche, Chlorophyllgehalt der Blaetter) unter dem Einfluss unterschiedlicher Witterung und Sticks toffduengung untersucht. Berechnet wurden die Normalisierte Differenz aus roter und nah infraroter Strahlung (NDVI) und die Wellenlaengenposition des Hauptwendepunktes (HWP) im Rot-Infrarot-Anstieg. Sowohl der NDVI als auch der HWP sind eng mit der Masse bzw. Flaeche und dem Chlorophyllgehalt der Blaetter korreliert und signalisieren den Zustand und die Leistungsfaehigkeit der Bestaende, deren Entwicklung und Unterschiede somit aufgezeigt werden koennen. Hieraus kann auf den Ertrag an Ruebenmasse geschlossen werden.
