1989
Nasution, I.
A research was conducted on red yellow podzolic soil in Sukajaya, Cigudeg, Bogor, to investigate the response of upland rice to 4 levels of TSP (0, 20, 40 and 80 kg P/ha) in combination with 3 levels of lime (0, 0.75, 1.5 t lime/ha). Beside TSP, rock phosphate and fused magnesium phosphate were also investigated. The results indicated that application of phosphate fertilizers increased filled grain weight (60 percent), straw weight (25 percent), number of panicles/m2, shoot dry weight at 40 days after planting, and plant height. The combination of lime and TSP increased filled grain (95 percent), straw weight (36 percent) and number of panicles/m2 significantly compared to without P. The pattern of nutrient uptake of N, P, K, Ca and Mg at harvest was studied.
