Effects of nitrogen nutrition on electron transport components and photosynthesis in spinach

Plants were grown under full sunlight with a range of concentrations of nitrate nitrogen in solution. The ratio of ribulose 1-5-biphosphate carboxylase activity to electron transport activity increased in leaves having greater nitrogen content.
