Influence of regeneration felling on growing-up spruce cultures and advanced cultures

The research was done in the border shelterwood felling and 30 m broad forested clearcut in the area of Zelivka river. Results show that it is suitable to use 3-year old bare-rooted plants or containerized plants of spruce. In spruce cultures and advanced cultures under border shelterwood felling the growth of spruce was more differentiated and retarded due to decreased solar radiation and precipitation.
