Gives results of assessments made of 3 currently available serological tests for the detection of antibodies to Newcastle disease virus. Assessments were made on the basis of adaptability for use in regional diagnostic laboratories, ease of use on large numbers of samples, cost efficiency, sensitivity and specificity.
