Prevention and control of house mice in New South Wales with emphasis on summer crops [Mus domesticus]
1992
Twigg, L.E. | Kay, B.J. (New South Wales Agriculture, Orange (Australia))
Presents the results of a 3 year study of the ecology and biology of house mice in and around irrigated summer crops in Western New South Wales. Several techniques for controlling mice were evaluated, using both pen and field trials. These included the evaluation of several rodenticides, determining if crop invasion could be inhibited by eliminating mice from the surrounding refuges, and the ability of natural predators to control mice numbers in and around crops. Detailed reports of the different aspects of the study, mice habitats, chemical control measures, etc., are presented as individual papers appended to the report.
