Census of land use and management practices in horticulture in the Swan Hill district
1995
The census was conducted between July and September 1994, covering 439 farms. Results presented include general farm data such as area, land tenure, labour availability and equipment; number of farms involved in each enterprise type; organic farming, irrigation practices, and planting changes under way. Enterprises covered include citrus, stone fruits, grapes of all kinds, and vegetable products and seed production. Data on yields, production and value of production are provided.
