The colostrum of 10 Najdi camels, produced during the first season of lactation, was studied up to 10 days postpartum. The mean contents of total, casein, non-protein, proteose-peptone albumin, beta-lactoglobulin and globulin N were 1.59, 0.56, 0.076, 0.26, 0.17, 0.068 and 0.44 percent respectively on the first day, and on the 10th day were 0.615, 0.42, 0.061, 0.024, 0.063, 0.015, and 0.12 percent respectively. Mineral contents generally decreased from the first day values, but Na and K fluctuated.
