Comparative susceptibility of 79 genotypes of lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.), including released varieties (K-75, L 9-12, L 4076, PL 406 and PL 639), was assessed against lentil pod borer, Etiella zinckenella under natural field conditions. At maturity, minimum pod infestation was observed in genotype LH 90-39 (4.1) and maximum in the genotype DPL 26 (17.5). Of 79 entries, 11 genotypes were categorized as least susceptible to the infestation of E. zinckenella having 4.1 to 5.7 pod infestation; 61 genotypes were moderately susceptible (6.0-14.63 pod infestation) and seven genotypes were highly susceptible (15.3-17.5 pod infestation)
