The contamination leves of poultry with lead and cadmium in Slovenia were established. The comparison of five regions in Slovenia has indicated that regarding the degree of contamination of poultry with Pb and Cd - the most contaminated is the Celje region. Other regions do not significantly differentiate among themselves.
