Using a graphic analysis of the complete diallel crossing of wheat during 2 years, the following wheat quantitative characters are evaluated: plant height, number of spikes per plant, grain weight per spike, a number of spikelets per spike, a number of grains per spike, a number of grains in spikelet, and the weight of 1000 grains. 4 genotypes (Slavia, Tiszataj, Maris Marksman and SO-78-4415) were used for crossing. An explicitely additive genetic system of polygenes was determined in grain weight per spike, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, number of grains per spikelet and weight of 1000 grains. Superdominance of the polygene influence was observed in plant height and 1000 grains weight. The number of grains per spike and the number of grains per spikelet indicated an incomplete dominance. Inactive polygenes prevailed in the Tiszataj and SO-78-4415 genotypes. Based on genetic determination of the evaluated quantitative characters of parents, their realization in the hybrid progeny can be expected.
