Honeybee flora of Ethiopia
1994
Fichtl, R. | Adi, A.
In this book 400 herbs and shrubs and 100 trees are described in detail and almost every species is shown in a colour photograph. Besides the descriptions of plants and their value to the bees much emphasis is given to the cultural, traditional and medicinal value of these honeyplants. Besides an index of scientific names, an index of vernacular namens gives plant namens in many different Ethiopian languages. This publication, which was produced in cooperation with the National Herbarium of the University of Addis Ababa, is the first one on honeyplants in Africa and therefore it has more than regional impact
