With Cardi's work now organized into programmes, the Animal and Crop Production Programmes feed into the Technology Adaptation and Transfer Programme. This last programme has itself been strengthened during the year by the merger of the CARDATS project, with its valuable experience of meeting the challenge of helping farmers to expand their farm businesses through the adoption of new techniques, expanded market opportunities and more ready access to credit.
