1996
Mawardi, D. (Universitas Lampung, Bandar Lampung (Indonesia). Fakultas Pertanian)
The research was conducted at Margahayu Village, Lembang, West Java to know how the planting distance and nitrogen level affect weed control and cabbage production. The experiment was arranged factorially in a completely randomized block design with three replications. The first factor was planting distant which consist of 40 cm by 60 cm, 50 cm by 60 cm and 70 cm by 60 cm. The second factor was nitrogen level which consisted of 0, 60, 120 and 180 kg N per ha. Results showed that planting distant of 40 cm by 60 cm combined with nitrogen at 180 kg N per ha reduced weed growth and increased cabbage production.
