Inglés. The common system of dairy waste management carried out by farmers which relatively own large area is by direct disposing into their own land. A study on the changes of soil composition and quality of ground water surrounding a dairy farm was carried out at Cilodong village, Cibinong Bogor. The farmer owns approximately 1.5 ha of land, mostly planted with king grass. Composite soil samples were collected according to the intensity of waste disposal. Ground water samples owned by community were collected from well around the farm. The range of soil pH was 5.3-5.85. The ratio of C/N soil between 14.4-17.4, was in the range of average value. Phosphor in soil was 4.8-24.0 times phosphor content in control sample. Soil calcium at the top as well as at 30 cm depth were lower, whereas kalium and magnesium were higher than those of control. Soil Mg level at the top and at 30 cm depth at highly waste disposed area were increased by 103.8 percent and 161 percent respectively. Amonium and nitrate content in ground water samples were in the range of 0.025-0.75 ppm and 10.0-75.0 ppm. Disposing dairy waste directly into the grass field gave the advantages, as manure was available at no cost
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Indonesio. Sistem penanganan kotoran ternak sapi perah yang umum dilakukan peternak di lapangan adalah dengan cara membuangnya langsung ke kebun rumput. Telah dianalisis pengelolaan limbah kotoran ternak dengan cara seperti ini, untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perubahan yang terjadi pada komposisi tanah serta pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas air sumur disekitar lokasi penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan disuatu usaha peternakan milik pribadi di Desa Cilodong, Kecamatan Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor. Luas areal usaha sapi perah adalah kira-kira 1,5 Ha. Sampel tanah diambil secara komposit berdasarkan intensitas buangan limbah, pH (H2O) tanah berkisar antara 5,38-5,85, dengan ratio C/N berkisar antara 10,4-17,4, dapat digolongkan sebagai tanah yang mengandung zat organik sedang-sedang saja, malah cenderung rendah. Fosfor dalam tanah 4,8-24,0 kali dari nilai fosfor dalam sampel kontrol. Terlihat bahwa kalsium dalam tanah baik dilapisan atas maupun pada kedalaman 30 cm cenderung menurun, sedangkan kalium dan magnesium meningkat. Kadar Mg diareal buangan kotoran tinggi baik pada lapisan atas maupun pada kedalaman 30 cm meningkat masing-masing 103,8 persen dan 161 persen. Kadar amonium dan nitrat dalam air sumur berkisar masing-masing antara 0,025-0,75 ppm dan 10,0-75,0 ppm.
