The concentrations of N-NO3, N-NH4, P-PO4 and their fluctuations within a year were studied in water of Pradnik river in Ojcow National Park. Distinct changes in the nutrient concentration were observed along the year - the highest contents in spring, the lowest during vegetation season. According to standards the P-PO4 content classified the water to 3rd class of purity while the N-NH4 and N-NO3 to 2nd and 1st class, respectively. Relatively high nutrient concentrations resulted from the contamination with communal and farm sewages. Evident relationship between precipitation and N-NO3 concentration in water was observed
