The Bialowieza Primeval Forest (BPF) covers 1475 square km, 595 qsuare km belong to Poland. In 1977 UNESCO recognized BPF as the World Biosphere Reserve, which was put as the List of World Human Heritage in 1979. Enormous forest biodiversity of the BPF constitues a unique object of studies. The following problems are discussed: agriculture as a factor determining natural environmental and living conditions; photographic illustration of the scenery of forest villages; evaluation of the effect of farming on soil and water quality in farmland areas of BPF; agriculture and settlement in BPF; climatic and agrochemical conditions for farming in BPF; plants for transformation of agriculture in BPF
