Leaf Spot is one of Shorea diseases in plantation causing premature leaf-fall. High disease intensity disturbed photosynthesis process and affected plant growth. An observation was carried out in both Carita II and Haurbentes Experimental Gardens by looking at disease symptoms on Shorea plantation, while isolation of pathogen and its phatogenicity test was done in laboratory. The result showed that the leaf spot disease was caused by a fungus called Pestalotia sp. Furthermore, this study was also aimed at determining is control measures either preventive or curative method, based on pathogen species and its ecobiological factors
