Individual private farmers classification in the Slovak Republic according to EU FADN methodology

In the frame of the pre-accession preparation for the EU, it is necessary to apply in Slovakia the information flows and methodologies of information processing, as they are applied in the member countries. The main criterion is the compatible enterprise structure. The contibution verifies the use of the EU FADN methodology for the individual private farmers classification according to the economic size and production orientation type on the basic set of 4,226 enterprises and selected set of 161 enterprises. The results proved the utilisation possibilities of the mentioned methodologies in the conditions of Slovakia.
