Price and cost of wood production as a combined product

Cost feature of pricing was underestimated in the period of transition to a market mechanism, which was caused by emphasizing of the demand feature of the wood market. There are presented the results of the analyses of relationships between cost and wood prices according to wood assortments differentially for silviculture and felling. The results of analyses take into account also the inflation rate. Application of new methods, mainly the selection of standard assortment, makes it possible to spread average production costs of a composite product over individual assortments.
