The number of rhizosphere microorganisms, bacteria, actinomyces and fungi, and chitynolytic microorganisms decreased significantly with plant maturation. On the other hand, the Fusarium spp. strains in oats rhizosphere increased gradually during the plant development. As for the properties of rhizosphere microorganisms, their low chitynolytic activity was the major factor responsible for oats roots colonization by Fusarium spp. The highest correlation coefficient r=-0,977 was found between roots colonization by Fusarium spp. and abilities of oats rhizosphere microorganisms hydrolase chitin
