A pot experiment was conducted in three series in: 1991/92 and 1993/94 in a greenhouse to determine the effects of changing soil moisture contents during the growing season and 2 rates of mineral fertilizer on: NPK content in winter triticale dry matter, nutrient uptake with the yield and efficiency of application. It was found that mineral fertilizers increased nitrogen contents of grain, straw and roots. The highest values at maximum soil moisture content were 19.5 g and 34.9 g respectively
