An overview of commercial passion fruit production within the CARICOM Region is offered through a brief description of the varieties, main propagation method, production systems and the major constraints. The major constraints are identified as low yield, lack of training in technology, pests, diseases and the failure to explore the opportunities of the fresh fruit market.
