Mineral leaf content of examined apple trees varied depending on year and rootstock. The influence of rootstocks on amount of nitrogen in leaves were observed only during years with low yield. The lowest N content was traced in the leaves of both tested cultivars (Delikates, Empire) grafted on P 22 rootstock. In off years Delikates leaves on B 9 contained more phosphorus. Amount of potassium in the leaves depended on season. Among tested rootstocks only M 9 in on season showed the tendency to lower content of this element. The tested rootstocks differed in providing leaves with calcium and magnesium and this action changed depending on season
