The paper presents the hydrolysis of plant biopolymers of agricultural waste products, such as: sugar beet pulp, wheat bran, rape meal and spent grain by T. reesei M7-1 enzymes present in postcultural filtrates. Hydrolysis with various substrates (6.8 percent) was carried out at 50 deg C and pH 5.0 for 24 and 48 h. The measurements included reducing sugars, glucose and pentoses contents. Of all the materials examined, wheat bran (61.5 percent after 48 h) proved to be most susceptible to enzymatic hydrolysis. Smaller yields were obtained with sugar beet pulp (39.2 percent), rape meal (34.4 percent) and spent grain (23 percent). Hydrolysis of these substrates to monosaccharides can improve the nutritive value of animal feed
