Inglés. In the present paper the main diseases caused by Phytophthora spp. on broadleaved species in the World and in Italy are reported. Furthermore, the investigations carried out on Castanea sativa and Quercus cerris stands in Italy to evaluate the presence of Phytophthora spp. in the soil are described. Six species of Phytophthora were detected and identified on both Quercus cerris and Castanea sativa. Their morphological traits are briefly described
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Italiano. Nel presente lavoro vengono portate in rassegna le principali malattie causate da Phytophthora su latifoglie forestali nel mondo e in Italia. Vengono inoltre descritte le indagini effettuate su due delle piu' importanti latifoglie italiane, Castanea sativa e Quercus cerris, riguardo alla presenza e ai danni causati da specie di Phytophthora. Sei specie di Phytophthora sono state identificate, presenti sia su Q. cerris ,sia su C. sativa. Le loro caratteristiche vengono brevemente illustrate
