Some aspects of using wood in production of boomerangs

Knowing physical laws and specifics of used material (mostly wood) enables production of boomerangs and determines the characteristics of a hand made product. We give the most often used species of timber used for production of boomerangs in Australia, where they have the most extensive known boomerang history and were most commonly used. On the other hand, we also wish to present woods used in modern production of boomerangs, as well as some specific techniques of wood treatment used in history and today. Regardless of the origin of wood used for boomerangs or the way they are made, they are an aesthetic object which allows self - acomplishment of modern man. At the same time it re - connects him with nature, either while working with the wood or while using - throwing the finished boomerang.
