2000
Zawieja, J. (Akademia Rolnicza, Wroclaw (Poland). Katedra Ogolnej Uprawy Roli i Roslin)
In 1998-99 a micro-plot experiment was conducted to study the effect of sowing date and rate of seeding on morphological traits, yield and yield components of lentil. Two factors were included in the experiment: 1. Sowing date - second and third decade of April and first decade of May; 2. Seed rate (number of viable seeds per 1 sq. m) - 100, 200, 300. The highest number and weight of seeds per plant was noted lentil was sown early at the lowest seed rate and seed yield of lentil pre micro-plot (means for yeas 64.4 g) at sowing 300 of viable seeds per 1 sq. m in second decade of April
